University of Kyrenia
The University of Kyrenia was established in 2013 in the city of Kyrenia. The university focused on training in the fields of aviation and maritime affairs. Its main goal is to become a leader in higher education within its specialized fields.
The University of Kyrenia was launched with a fully equipped infrastructure to ensure quality education and to become a prominent institution of first choice among national and international higher education institutions. It aims to achieve this by offering a diverse range of high-quality associate, bachelor's, and graduate programs designed to contribute to students' academic and professional development.
Its educational and training foundation is based on the accumulated knowledge of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, established by its sister institution, Near East University, in 1978 as the first faculty of maritime studies in Cyprus.
